Letter to my unborn child
Dear child,
I am writing this letter at a moment in my life when i have many fantasies, when my hopes, goals and dreams of this world are quite high, when my love for beautiful and sexy ladies is at its peak, when the woman I hope will get birth to you would be a woman of high virtue, religious and a woman of high morality.
I am curious and anticipating the kind world you will live in when you finally come, the kind of father I will be when I give birth to you, the kind of mother, your mum will be, the kind of family we will build together and the kind of relationship that will exist between us.
I welcome you to the biggest and wildest market of all creations, welcome to the world of vanity and a world where distractions will make you loss the purpose of being here.
I hope by the time you are reading this letter you will be able to understand and have the strong mind to digest every word with its strength and as intended by me, your father.
Before you start the next paragraph, I want you to imagine that you are a lonely child with no one to cater and care for you and you found this letter among one of my many letters. Or Imagine this as one of those father to child special moment, where you have no option than to read and think deep as my words penetrate deep into every bones in your body.
I hope you will keep this letter for my grandchildren to tell them the same thing you are reading right now.
Now read with rapt attention so as to allow every words make wave into your blood. A pre-announced war won't kill the cripple, so they say.
First and foremost, I want to use this golden opportunity to express my deepest feeling about how happy I am to be your father and the husband of your mother; a woman that makes life seems so easy.
My child, in life you will meet different people, you will meet those who will be there with you because they have something to gain from, they are called the bench warmers. You will meet those who will only stay with you when you need their support and leave you when they realise you need them no more. These kind of people are ten grains of beans in a sack of rice. Be careful of those who will always sing the song of support and make you dance to the tune of the song because they might stop singing anytime and make a fool out of you.
Omo mi, it is important for you to know that not all those you call friends will be there with you when you needed them most and not all those you see as your enemies will laugh at you when you fail.
Like your grandfather usually say, "do not let the darkness distracts or scares you from getting to the light. Let 'not getting to the light' scare you more than darkness". Attain your goals without being scared away by failures and disappointments.
Always adopt the law of Checks and Balances in every aspect of your life. Weigh what majority of people say about you negatively with what you think of yourself positively. If what people say about you negatively out-weighed what you think of yourself positively, then my child, you need to check yourself and balance the equation because that truly means your negativity has out-weighed your positivity. "You are in a deep shit".
I won't tell you everything will always be same because they wont, change is the only constant phenomenon in the universe. In any situation you find yourself be it good or bad, know that it won't continue like that forever.
Remember to live every single moment of your life as if you won't live to see another. Remember as a soul is born so is another taken.
